• The Feder Super Bowl Party has been in existence since 1988, with only 6 people in attendance at the first one. Since 1996, the Feder Super Bowl Party has been held in the U of A Football Stadium. The first 9 years the party was held in the President's Suite. During the 2005 renovation of the Sky Box, sadly the party could not be held. Starting in 2006, we moved the party to the Stadium Club. The club provides a more comfortable venue for the size party it has become.
• The Stadium Club holds 150 people inside (where the food will be). The outside seating in the stadium is under shade and can facilitate 400 people. There is also a patio to the east which looks over the baseball field. It can facilitate an additional 300 people. All seating is accessed from the inside of the Stadium Club.
• In 1998, we decided to put a box at the check-in table for voluntary donations to a worthy charity. Beneficiaries have included Casa de los Niños, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society’s Camp Sunrise, and El Rio Children's Programs. Past parties have raised between $10,000 and $15,000..
• At our party, we serve more than 60 dozen hot dogs (that’s 720 dogs!) and 78 feet of various sub sandwiches. We also consume approximately 10 Eegee's party packs, 24 pounds of M&M’s, along with bushels of Red Vines, Hershey Kisses, Goldfish, Chex Mix, Ruffles potato chips, pretzels, cookies, and both chocolate and vanilla sheet cakes. We wash it all down with 720 cans of Coke products, 500 bottles of water, and 4 kegs of Gentle Bens beer.
• Our Super Bowl Party routinely has more than 850 people in attendance. We have guests from many parts of the country, the farthest guest to date flew in from Israel. Next farthest was from Pittsfield, Mass. PLEASE RSVP – we need to get a proper food count.
